My Dad was an awesome Dad except for his anger problems.  I tend to be  a lot like him with my little girl.

I'm  great Dad!   There should be a website about how to be a good Mom.

As some of the others have mentioned, and as the Beatles have sang "All you need is love."   A loving Dad is better than a rich dad or a cool dad.  All you need is love, love, and more love.  Mix in some caring and effort and a little bit of role model and you have the makings for a great family.   Oh, and one more thing...  you also need Jesus Christ to save your soul.  In fact, that's the most important thing.  A good Christian dad will set the standard and then the children will hopefully follow in his footsteps.  If the kids get saved they will go to Heaven and meet the best Dad of all, Our Heavenly Father.  Amen.

My advice would be to not lose your temper.  Just remember all kids make mistakes and you ain't perfect, Brother.

A good dad is in the eye of the beholder.  Teaching good Christian values and morals is a great idea.
